Send an initial report

A report should be assessed against the identified material and relevant rights information. The responsible operator may remove or restrict material while investigating and may request further information needed to understand the claim.
A counter-notice or dispute about an allegedly mistaken removal can have legal consequences. Consult the official guidance and qualified counsel rather than relying on a generic website form.
For customers and resellers
Do not interpret a copyright policy as evidence that a particular channel lineup is authorized. Buyers should verify distribution in their territory; resellers should additionally verify permission to resell.
If you receive a rights-related complaint from a customer or third party, preserve the relevant records and seek advice before making legal assertions about the complaint.
