Inside the panel

Your IPTV reseller panel, explained.

An IPTV reseller panel is the management interface used to create customer accounts, track subscription dates, and spend wholesale credits. Its value comes from how clearly it supports your daily work.

The panel is your operating workspace

An IPTV panel is not the streaming player your customers watch. It is the administrative software that sits between your reseller agreement and each customer account. Depending on the supplier, it may expose account creation, connection limits, renewal tools, credit history, and support requests.

The dashboard shown on our homepage is an illustration of these concepts. It is not a screenshot of an active account or a promise of specific software functionality. Ask for the current panel’s feature list and access rules before purchasing credits.

Customer accounts and activation

A useful panel makes it clear which account belongs to which customer, which service has been enabled, and when access begins and ends. Before activating an account, confirm its duration and connection count. An accidental activation can spend credits even if the customer has not started watching.

Check whether the panel supports notes, customer references, or exportable account records. Keep only the personal information you need. Do not store card details, unnecessary identity documents, or public copies of playlist credentials in account notes.

  • Account name or private customer reference
  • Activation and expiry dates with the time zone shown
  • Maximum simultaneous connections
  • Clear confirmation before a credit-spending action

Credit balances need a transaction history

A balance alone does not explain where your money went. Ask whether each deduction records the account, duration, number of credits, timestamp, and action. The same history should show top-ups, approved adjustments, and any reversal of a mistaken activation.

Credit rules vary between suppliers. Find out whether credits expire, whether an inactive account still consumes them, and whether extending a subscription charges differently from creating it. Make sure the panel’s displayed totals match the schedule in your written agreement.

Check deductions against the rules described in our wholesale credit calculations.

Renewals and expired accounts

Renewal handling affects both customer satisfaction and cash flow. Confirm whether a renewal adds time to the current expiry date or restarts the duration from the day you renew. Ask what happens if a customer renews after expiry and whether their previous credentials remain valid.

If automated renewals or reminders are offered, understand who sends them and which customer details are shared. A dashboard reminder is not the same as an automatic payment collection system. Never imply that a customer will be charged automatically unless they have explicitly agreed to that billing arrangement.

Security and access control

Use a unique password for your reseller account and enable multifactor authentication if the panel supports it. A compromised panel can expose customer credentials and allow someone else to spend credits. Give staff only the permissions needed for their work, where role-based access is available.

Ask how the provider handles password resets, suspicious logins, and access revocation. If you leave the program, clarify how records and remaining credits are treated. Download only the records you are permitted to retain and protect them as customer data.

White labeling and sub-resellers

Some reseller IPTV panels allow a custom logo, domain, or sub-reseller account. These features are not universal. Confirm whether branding changes are included, whether they incur setup charges, and whether your agreement permits the customer-facing claims you intend to make.

Sub-reseller access creates another support layer. If you manage other resellers, define who holds the credit balance, who can suspend accounts, and who answers end-customer complaints. Avoid a structure in which each party assumes someone else is responsible for the same issue.

A practical panel evaluation

Ask the supplier to demonstrate account creation, an expiry check, a renewal, and the credit history. Check how you would report a problem from the panel. You do not need a complicated interface; you need predictable actions, clear consequences, and reliable records.

Document any missing feature before signing. If exports are unavailable, plan a secure separate record of customer references and expiry dates. If there is no formal service-level agreement, do not turn informal support expectations into promises to your customers.

Put the panel review in context with the reseller launch checklist.
